5/4 Roster Highlights By: 2K Insider | Monday May 04 2009 Latest News - Jermaine O'Neal missed all of Game 6 and all but one minute of Game 7 due to concussion symptoms. He is entering the final year of his contract, so look for increased production and less games missed in 2009-10. It will also be an important season for the Heat, because Dwyane Wade could potentially opt out in the summer of 2010 if he is unhappy with the state of the franchise. Tyson Chandler was unable to play in the final game of the season for New Orleans due to his swollen ankle. Chandler struggled with his health all year, contributing to the downturn of the Hornets. Orlando's Courtney Lee is still sidelined with a fractured sinus, courtesy of a Dwight Howard elbow. He's listed as day-to-day, but will probably miss the first 2 games of the Boston series. Meanwhile, J.J. Redick and Mickael Pietrus will share the extra minutes in the backcourt. Luke Walton is also hoping to return soon, but he has missed a week due to a partially torn ligament in his left foot. Fortunately for the Lakers, they have a deep squad and have not missed a beat as they easily eliminated Utah in 5 games. Jamario Moon only managed to play in 3 games during the Atlanta series because he was sidelined with a hernia which required surgery. He will be a free agent this summer, so he may have played his last game in a Heat uniform. The Pistons picked up the team option on Will Bynum for next season, so he will backup Rodney Stuckey yet again. Bynum proved his worth down the stretch in the absence of Allen Iverson.
Biggest Movers - Glen "Big Baby" Davis did an admirable job filling in for future Hall of Famer, Kevin Garnett, during the classic battle with Chicago. He had the green light to shoot the mid-range jumper and he proved that he could knock it down consistently. Shannon Brown has become one of the key bench players for the Lakers, after a slow start to his career. Leave it to Phil Jackson to maximize a player's talent and allow him to be successful in his role. Brown brings solid defense, athleticism, and the ability to hit jumpers to the table. The energetic and emotional Joakim Noah was a force in the paint for the Bulls. He averaged 13.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocks for the series, including several highlight plays. Ray Allen was money for Boston, hitting several clutch 3-point shots and showing that he has a lot left in the tank. He shot 0.466 3P% on 27-58 for the series, which earned him a bump in that attribute.
Caron Butler has struggled out the gate averaging 16.8 ppg on 0.397 FG% over 8 games. Perhaps he won't struggle as much when Antawn Jamison finally returns to the lineup.

Los Angeles Lakers - Andrew Bynum
Andrew Bynum is holding it down in the middle for the Lakers with 20.3 ppg, 11.8 rpg and 1.8 bpg averages. It's nice to finally see the young big man healthy and productive after some unfortunate injuries in recent years.

New York Knicks - Toney Douglas
Toney Douglas has provided the Knicks with bench scoring over the last few games. No doubt Mike D'Antoni is frustrated with Chris Duhon's lack of scoring this year.
