4/27 Roster Highlights By: 2K Insider | Monday April 27 2009 Latest News - Dikembe Mutombo's 18 year career has officially ended after rupturing a quadriceps tendon in his left knee in Game 2 vs Portland. The 4-time Defensive Player of the Year had been coming off the bench for Yao Ming, who will now have to log heavier minutes since he is the only healthy true center on the Rockets. Also out for the rest of the playoffs is Leon Powe, who tore his left ACL and meniscus in Game 2 vs Chicago. This is the second time he's had a major injury to his left knee and there's some concern regarding the impact to his career. Powe will be a free agent this summer so the timing could not be worse. Atlanta's Marvin Williams sat out Game 3 vs Miami and is listed as day-to-day. Mo Evans started in his place, but the Hawks lost in another blowout to the Heat who seem to have solved how to defend Atlanta. Mehmet Okur returned to the Jazz lineup in Game 4, but they are now just one loss from being eliminated. He was clearly bothered by his hamstring, only playing 13 minutes and scoring 0 points.
Biggest Movers - Courtney Lee continues to start and play heavy minutes at shooting guard for the Orlando Magic. Stan Van Gundy is pleased with his rookie's defensive intensity, ability to hit open shots, and overall solid play. In Games 1 and 2, he picked up the scoring slack when veterans Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis struggled with their shooting. Rajon Rondo is averaging a triple double after 4 games vs Chicago. He has been Boston's best player, posting 23.3 ppg, 10.0 apg, 10.8 rpg and 3.5 spg. Very impressive considering he is matched up against Derrick Rose and has to keep All-Stars Paul Pierce and Ray Allen happy. Chauncey Billups has proven that Denver got the better end of the Iverson trade. The Nuggets are poised for a long playoff run while the Pistons were swept in the first round with A.I. on the injured list. After 3 games, Billups is averaging 27.7 ppg, 6.0 apg and shot 14-19 from 3pt range which has put added defensive pressure on Chris Paul. Despite being on the verge of elimination, Carlos Boozer has been monstrous in the paint for Utah. He's averaging 23.3 ppg, 14.3 rpg and 0.547 FG% in 4 games vs the Lakers.
Also Carmelo Anthony needs a boost on his blocking he 0.8 blocks in the whole playoffs and derrick rose got 0.7 block so i think they should have the same overall in blocking a 69 cuz in the update that what rose got so next update can u plz fix that
Caron Butler has struggled out the gate averaging 16.8 ppg on 0.397 FG% over 8 games. Perhaps he won't struggle as much when Antawn Jamison finally returns to the lineup.

Andrew Bynum is holding it down in the middle for the Lakers with 20.3 ppg, 11.8 rpg and 1.8 bpg averages. It's nice to finally see the young big man healthy and productive after some unfortunate injuries in recent years.
