FAQ - Please Read By: 2K Insider | Friday November 14 2008 Thank you all for visiting the 2K Insider blog. I appreciate the interest you have expressed in the Living Rosters feature for 2K9 as this is a challenging and exciting venture for myself as well. As many of you have noticed, there are a lot of the same questions that keep resurfacing so I would like to clarify some topics for visitors to the blog.
Blog vs Forums - I have been instructed to only communicate on the 2K Insider Blog and not on the 2ksports.com forums. Simple reason is that if you want to guarantee that I read your comment, you only need to go to one place...my blog. I mentioned this back in October when I introduced myself on the forum, but many of you may not have known.
Topics - Please limit your questions to player, team or coach ratings/tendencies only. I will not answer issues about online leagues, flex schedules, camera settings, gameplay issues, lobbies, etc.
Art - I cannot control player likenesses, hairstyles or body types. However, I can edit accessories such giving or removing a headband, armband or knee brace. I cannot adjust the geometry of a particular accessory item, like the length of an arm sleeve. All new players will have generic portraits and likenesses.
Biggest Movers - The Biggest Movers tab on this site and in-game screen only lists the players whose ratings have had the most significant changes to the previous roster. I cannot list every single change made within each update. For example, I may adjust someone's speed rating by a couple points without calling it out.
Requests - Lots of you have requests for me to make or are upset at current ratings. That's fine...that's what the blog is for. However, it's important to consider the way you come at me. I'm more willing to listen to your point if you are reasonable or have stats to back up your case. I'm not as willing if you are obnoxious, use profanities, or are just straight up out of line. That's the best way to get ignored or your post deleted.
Thank you for your time and hopefully this helps answer some of your questions. Now let's enjoy the 2008-09 season!
hey insider i think von wafer needs a boost on hist thress's.
he's shooting better than mayo from beyond the arc.
mayo is averaging .382%
and wafer is averaging .400%
and i think wafer is a little too underrated he's worth to be in the 70's or 80's but not 60's and could you create a new von wafer if you can because the current von wafer has nothing in commen (looks, hairstyle ect.) with the real wafer. and dikembe mutombo is back in the rockets roster
I think the Nene of The Denver Nuggets should have his own dunk style. He is clearly one of the best big man dunkers so far.He is the leading the NBA in field goal % and almost every game he delivers a facial dunk.So please do some research on Nene of The Denver nuggets..

Caron Butler has struggled out the gate averaging 16.8 ppg on 0.397 FG% over 8 games. Perhaps he won't struggle as much when Antawn Jamison finally returns to the lineup.

Brandon Jennings lit up the Warriors for 55 points Saturday night in a performance that had everyone talking. The Bucks finally got it right and looks to have gotten the steal of the draft this year.

Los Angeles Lakers - Andrew Bynum
Andrew Bynum is holding it down in the middle for the Lakers with 20.3 ppg, 11.8 rpg and 1.8 bpg averages. It's nice to finally see the young big man healthy and productive after some unfortunate injuries in recent years.

New York Knicks - Toney Douglas
Toney Douglas has provided the Knicks with bench scoring over the last few games. No doubt Mike D'Antoni is frustrated with Chris Duhon's lack of scoring this year.

Chicago Bulls - Joakim Noah
Joakim Noah is averaging 12.1 ppg, 12.4 rpg and 2.0 bpg and providing a presence in the paint. This is exactly what the Bulls were hoping for when they made him their 2007 lottery pick.

Indiana Pacers - Roy Hibbert
Second year center, Roy Hibbert, has improved significantly by averaging 12.6 ppg, 9.1 rpg and 2.5 bpg. He looks to be in better shape and understands his role better this time around.

Philadelphia 76ers - Samuel Dalembert
Samuel Dalembert's production has taken a dip with averages of 6.2 ppg and 6.8 rpg. Now that Marresse Speights is out for extended time, the Sixers need Sammy D to step it up.
